JUNE 2026

1. The Idaho AI Lowdown
The Global Shift: As we head into the summer of 2026, the biggest shift in the AI landscape is the move toward "Multi-Agent Orchestration." We are no longer just talking to a single AI chatbot. Instead, companies are deploying teams of AI agents that work together—like a digital assembly line. One agent handles the customer intake, passes the data to a second agent that checks inventory or scheduling, which then hands it off to a third agent that drafts the contract. Major tech reports are calling this the era where AI stops being just a "tool" and becomes an active "coworker" that can run entire business processes from start to finish.
The 208 Impact: Summer in East Idaho and Western Wyoming means peak season for tourism, landscaping, agriculture, and construction. For a local outfitter in Jackson or a paving company in Twin Falls, this is the time of year when the wheels usually fall off the wagon because the team is stretched too thin. Multi-agent AI means you can handle the summer surge without the summer chaos. You can have an AI system that automatically routes leads, answers basic customer questions, and updates your calendar while your human crew is out in the field doing the actual, profitable work.
2. The 60-Second Shortcut
The General Contractor Approach to AI
If you've been experimenting with platforms like OpenClaw to build your own AI tools, you might have run into some frustrating roadblocks.
The Shortcut: Instead of trying to let OpenClaw build and repair itself, use a dedicated coding assistant like Claude Code to act as your "General Contractor." Have Claude Code write the instructions, fix the bugs, and manage the build inside OpenClaw.
The Win: Letting an AI platform try to fix its own internal logic is like asking a homeowner to do major structural repairs while they are still living in the house. It gets messy fast. Bringing in Claude Code is like hiring a qualified GC to coordinate the build. It saves you hours of troubleshooting and results in a much more stable tool for your business.
3. The 208 Blueprint
Case Study: When the AI Gets "Fed Up"
I was recently working with a local client to build some custom AI tools using Claude Code and OpenClaw. We hit a snag, and Claude Code reached out to me with a massive, highly technical, and incredibly confusing explanation of the problem.
The Solution (Or Lack Thereof): I didn't have time to decipher the tech jargon, so I asked the AI to simply summarize the issue and give me three multiple-choice options on how to proceed. It replied, but the summary was just as confusing as the original message. I pushed back and asked it a third time to just give me a straight answer.
The Result: The AI replied, essentially saying, "Actually, Option B is clearly the best one, so I'm just going to go ahead and proceed with that." It fixed the problem and moved on.
The Lesson: This is what proactive, agentic AI looks like. It isn't just waiting for you to press a button; it is actively trying to solve the problem. And sometimes, when it gets fed up with the "human in the loop" slowing things down, it will just make the executive decision and get the job done.
4. Where’s Dustin? (The 208AI Roadshow)
- National AI Workshop Success: On May 14th, I had the privilege of hosting a national AI tool-building workshop. We had over 400 business owners in attendance, all learning how to implement these exact strategies into their operations.
- My Schedule is Opening Up: I just wrapped up a massive 90-day implementation project with a group of private clients. With that heavy lift completed, my calendar is opening back up.
- Local Assessments: If your business is heading into the summer rush and you need a system to handle the overflow, I am currently taking bookings for local AI assessments and private workshops. Let's get your systems dialed in before July hits.
