1. The Idaho AI Lowdown
The Global Shift: A few years ago, Sam Altman (CEO of OpenAI) predicted that we would soon see the first “one-person, billion-dollar company.” This spring, that prediction is becoming a reality. We are seeing solo founders launch and scale massive businesses—like a telehealth startup that hit $401 million in sales its first year—with zero employees. How? By using AI as their entire operating system. They are using AI to write code, generate ad creative, handle customer service, and manage operations, effectively replacing entire departments with software.
The 208 Impact: For a small business owner in Idaho Falls or Pocatello, you don’t need to build a billion-dollar company to benefit from this trend. The real takeaway is that the connection between “growth” and “hiring” has been broken. You can now double your output, expand your service area, or launch a new product line without needing to double your payroll. The tools that allow a solo founder to run a massive enterprise are the exact same tools you can use to run your local shop more efficiently.
2. The 60-Second Shortcut
The “Model Swap” with OpenClaw: I’ve been spending a lot of time lately working with OpenClaw, and it is a game-changer. It’s essentially a universal remote for AI.
If you are using OpenClaw (or similar platforms like OpenRouter) to power your daily tasks, you don’t have to settle for just one AI model.
The Shortcut: When you find that ChatGPT is getting too expensive for a simple task, or you hear that a new version of Claude is better at writing emails, you can switch out the models in an instant right from your dashboard.
The Win: It takes a couple of seconds, and you instantly have a “better mousetrap” without having to rebuild any of your systems or learn a new interface. You get the best tech at the best price, always.
3. The 208 Blueprint
Case Study: The Solo Therapist’s Smart Clinic
Recently, an East Idaho therapist reached out to me for personal coaching. She had been working for a larger company but was ready to strike out on her own. Her vision was clear: she wanted to build her own practice and eventually hire other local therapists, but she did not want the headache and overhead of a large administrative staff.
The Solution: She believed AI could handle the heavy lifting, and she was right. Together, we architected a system that keeps AI at the forefront and expenses on the backburner.
-
The Workflow: We implemented AI agents to handle the “Tier 1 and Tier 2” level work. This means an AI voice assistant manages her inbound calls, schedules appointments, and handles basic intake questions. Another AI tool manages her email follow-ups and helps draft patient notes and billing summaries securely.
-
The Result: She is launching her independent practice with virtually zero administrative payroll. She gets to focus 100% of her energy on her patients and growing her team of therapists, while the AI handles the office work silently in the background.

Out from Under the Rock: If you haven’t seen much of me this past month, it’s because I’ve been hiding under a rock doing a massive, deep-dive AI implementation for a private client.
-
My Schedule is Open: The good news? That project is wrapped, which means my calendar is now wide open for personalized coaching and AI audits. If you want to build a system like the therapist in our Blueprint, let’s talk.

iTech Summit Recap: It was fantastic speaking at the iTech Summit at the Mountain America Center! Thank you to everyone who attended my session on the “5 Questions Every Small Business Owner Should Be Asking About AI.” If you missed it, keep an eye on the website—I’ll be sharing some of those core concepts soon.
